Hamilton Conference vacancies are included in the National Vacancy List (NVL) which may be viewed on the Church Leadership Network website, sponsored and staffed by the General Council Office CLN team.  Hamilton Conference office distributes the NVL electronically at the beginning of each month only to ministry personnel within Hamilton Conference who have requested it.

Please contact the Conference Office at sduliban@hamconf.org to be added to the distribution list.  You are asked to notify us when you no longer require the list.

**If you are not a member of Hamilton Conference and wish to receive a copy of the NVL, you need to request it from your current conference.

Pastoral Charge Vacancies

When a vacancy has been declared by Presbytery at your congregation/pastoral charge, the Conference Office will receive a Record of Pastoral Charge Vacancy form. Receipt of this form at the Conference Office confirms that the vacancy was declared at Presbytery and that the vacancy can be posted on the National Vacancy List (NVL). The Joint Search Committee will receive a letter of instruction from the Conference Personnel Minister regarding the work that lies ahead of you and details regarding adding your vacancy to the NVL. You are asked to provide the name and contact information (e-mail address is preferable) of the Chairperson of your committee or the preferred contact person from your committee. The National Availability List (NAL) will be sent to this person each month. Please send this information to the Conference Office at sduliban@hamconf.org.

The National Vacancy List may also be viewed on the Church Leadership Network Web site – a meeting place for leaders throughout The United Church of Canada to build relationships with each other. The CLN is sponsored and staffed by the General Council Office (the CLN Team) with the hope that this connection will help the work of the General Council staff more faithfully address the needs of the whole church. As such, the network is restricted to those who are currently involved in leadership positions within the United Church, or are in the process of becoming church leaders. Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, Three Willows, Guelph

Three Willows United Church is looking for a post-secondary student to help build our social media presence, develop social media and marketing strategies and work hand-in-hand with the other church staff. The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator will have experience doing marketing and social media for a company, non-profit, or church.
