Upcoming Events in Hamilton Conference

Sexual Abuse Policy and Procedures Training

It is the policy of Hamilton Conference that all Ministry Personnel, including Voluntary Associate Ministers, serving pastoral charges or outreach ministries in this Conference are expected to take training offered by CCOSA, concerning The United Church of Canada’s Sexual Abuse/Harassment policy, every three years.

In order to facilitate all ministry personnel meeting this requirement, the Conference Coordinating Committee on Sexual Abuse (CCOSA) is offering identical workshops in various locations in the spring and fall. The next workshops will take place on Tuesday, March 9, at Glen Abbey United Church in Oakville, 9:00 a.m. to noon, and at Hamilton Conference Office, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please register with Janet Macaulay at jmacaulay@hamconf.org or 905-659-3343 ext 230 before March 1, 2010.
