Minister for Social Justice and Youth
Diane is an Ontario Certified Teacher by training who is passionate about education and working within the context of Church and Society. She brings to her portfolio experience in leading programs for children, youth, and adults, as well as liaising with faith-based and community agencies.
Diane works part-time for the Conference, providing consultation and program resources to committees and networks of pastoral charges, presbyteries and Conference in the areas related to Church in Society, Social Justice, Outreach, World Outreach and interpretation of the Mission and Service Fund. She assists with planning and evaluation of programs in the area of Social Justice and youth, while keeping before the community and the church the prophetic dimensions of the Gospel.
Diane provides staff support to the Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Committee; the Affirm, Bearing Faithful Public Witness, and Children and Youth Networks; and planning and implementation of CAYTS and Youth Forum. She is also Persistent Friend to Niagara and Erie Presbyteries.
