Executive and Sub-Executive minutes

The Conference is responsible for electing an executive to do the continuing work of the Conference between its regular meetings (The Manual 2013 – D 3.1.1)

The Executive of Hamilton Conference consists of:

  • the President of Conference
  • Executive Officer
  • the Immediate Past-President
  • the President -elect
  • 2 Representatives from each Presbytery, to be appointed by the Presbytery (often the Chair and the Chair-elect)
  • 1 Representative from the Finance Committee, the Nominations Committee, the Staff Committee, the Ministry Personnel & Education Committee, and the Mission Strategy & Support Committee
  • the Chair of the Agenda & Business Committee, or his/her appointee
  • the President of the Hamilton Conference United Church Women, or her appointee
  • 2 Hamilton Conference Representatives to General Council Executive

Corresponding Members:

  • Presbytery Secretaries
  • All Conference Program Staff

The executive may appoint a sub-executive to do the continuing work of the executive between regular meetings (The Manual 2013 – D 3.2.1).

The Sub-Executive of Hamilton Conference consists of:

  • the President of Conference
  • Executive Officer
  • the Immediate Past-President
  • the President -elect
  • 1┬áRepresentative from each Presbytery, to be appointed by the Presbytery (usually the Chair)
