Kim is an experienced leader in the United Church and brings deep listening and a grounded and authentic spirituality to her ministry. She brings particular experience to our Church commitment to becoming an inter-cultural church and to living into right relations between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples. She offers leadership and provides creative processes for visioning and works with congregations to discover ways of expressing who they are, how God’s call is leading them, and what their mission and ministry can be in this time and place. Kim provides support to congregations with compliance to legislation such as Workplace Violence and Harassment (Bill 168). She also helps congregations develop their marriage policies.
Kim offers guidance for Stewardship Education in congregations and Presbyteries and acts as a resource in all areas of Stewardship Programming, working closely with the Financial Development Officer to Hamilton Conference.
Kim staffs the Mission Strategy and Support Committee by interpreting policy and providing support. She is a resource person for mission units receiving Mission Support Grants and Loans and acts as a liaison between these groups and other structures of the church. Kim also provides staff support for the Philanthropy and Stewardship Committee. Kim is Persistent Friend to Bruce and Halton Presbyteries.
